Logan OMJ Center offers a wide variety of services for job seekers to find, maintain, and improve their employment prospects.
Public Assistance Programs are government funded programs that provide temporary aid to eligible families and individuals in need. The programs include: Cash Assistance, Food Assistance, Medicaid, Medicaid Transportation, and Medicare Assistance for the elderly and disabled. We also offer programs to assist Kinship givers to provide stability to children who have been displaced from their parents.
The purpose of Child Support is to promote the well being of children by assuring that their parents help to support them financially. Logan County CSEA can assist parents with the following: paternity determinations, establishing financial and medical support orders, modification of support orders, location of non-custodial parents, and enforcement of support orders. CSEA can also assist employers with child support paperwork.
Promoting stable employment helps both our citizens and our businesses. To attain this goal, we offer services which include Subsidized Child Care, Training and Education funding, and our Prevention-Retention-Contingency Program. This program promotes stable families by providing small grants to families with urgent needs to prevent the loss of shelter and employment.
