Public Assistance
The Logan County Department of Job and Family Services helps individuals and families with the basic necessities of life when they've experienced a loss of income and are striving to become self-sufficient.
We can provide a variety of assistance through cash and food programs, medical coverage, emergency aid, transportation and child care assistance. These services are provided based on income and with the requirement that recipients participate in work-related activities. These may include work experience programs, employment, and education or job training through the Logan County OhioMeansJobs one-stop center and partnering organizations.
Income maintenance assistance is provided for a limited time to help individuals and families as they recover from layoffs and other challenging circumstances.
